Our Simple Ordering Process

1. Click on ‘SHOP’, browse our card selection then select your favorite Paper Locket card design

Because all our cards are ‘made-to-order’ we can modify any design to fit 1 to 6 photos!

2. Personalize your order through our detailed online order form

3. Send your photos to us via the instructions in our confirmation email  (email photos to order@paperlocket.com)

4. You will receive an online proof in less than 48 hours for your review. Let us know what you think – any changes, modifications to be made?
We don’t print your card until you ‘love it’!

5. Once we have your approval we send your design to our partner in professional printing. Expect to receive your cards in 3 business days, via FedEx 2nd day delivery.

Our designs are exclusive and are customized to suit your photos and personal style. Our ordering system is not automated. Real people are here on the other end, reviewing your order and photos before a proof is created. Every design is one of a kind (what a relief!)

We continue our design and/or your photos on the card’s backside at no extra charge.

We allow for changes to our designs – any design can be modified to fit 1 to 6 photos. You are welcome to change the colors or fonts used in the design as well!

Our print quality is exceptional; cards are professionally printed through the nation’s largest Professional Photographer’s lab.

The cover stock used is extremely thick and of high quality (pearl or smooth), using a dry-ink technology, and 100+ year fade resistant ink.

Card Sizes:

Our most popular card is a 5×7 flat (it doesn’t open) card. Both sides contain artwork and/or your photos & personal content. The next most popular size is the 5×5 flat card (but the US post office will charge you more to send this size). Simple white envelopes are included with every order. You can add a return address for .20cents each

Browse our designs until you see one that suits your style, select from our product options, proceed to checkout. If one of our designs from a different category is your favorite we can modify it for your occasion. For example, if you love a specific holiday card but are looking for a graduation card, order the holiday card and specify that it is for a graduation celebration.

Pricing:

Our cards start at 2.50 for our collection of designs or 3.00 for a custom creation. We offer quantity discounts from there – down to 1.75 when you order over 50 cards.
Cards sold in increments of 25 – with 25 being the minimum order available.

Alterations

Your card is made-to-order we don’t use templates! This give us the ability to modify any of our designs to suit you. Request a different font or color. Add more photos – or reduce the number of photos shown in our sample. We can easily accommodate 1 to 6 photos in ANY design. Include a short family letter, favorite poem or quote. Can’t decide between 2 of our designs? Ask us to combine them into 1 unique card for you!

Online Proof

We personally create your proofs for you. A proof preview is provided for you online in less than 48 hours. We don’t print your card until you LOVE it! At that time you can request changes to your card – such as layout, color or fonts.

Delivery

Cards deliver in approximately 2 business days from final approval (shipping FedEx® next business day).

Guarantee

Q. What is your guarantee?

A. Our products are guaranteed. Your order will only be placed once you’ve approved the design. If there is a flaw or quality issue upon receiving your order please notify us within 24 hours and we will do everything we can to make it right. We have a money back guarantee! Unfortunately we cannot guarantee the accuracy of content provided by the customer. In the event of incorrect content we will work toward the most cost effective resolution we can.

Q. Do you have any additional fees or charges?

A. Because we take great time in cropping, editing and photo fixing each photo and design – changing photos or the selected design during the design process is subject to a $15 re-design fee. Be sure to submit all photos when your order is placed to eliminate this extra charge. Specifically for books, there is a $75/hour design fee for changes made after final proof preview (details above).

All About Photos

Q. Can I submit professional photos?

A. We can only work with copyright free photos. If a professional photographer has taken your photo(s) they must provide you with a release so you can freely use the images as you wish.

Q. How do I send my photos?

Ordering options for cards and wall art allow for you to upload your photos at the time you are placing your order. If you have more photos you’d like to submit you can upload them here (To: order@paperlocket.com) and make a note more are being sent on your order form.

Q. Can you scan my photos?

A. We can scan your photos for you. Our fee for scanning is $35/hour. Please email us to discuss how this process works.

Q. How do I prepare my photos for your products?

A. No need to crop or change a color photo to a b/w or sepia one. We’ll do all the color correcting, resizing, cropping, and photo altering for you at no extra charge. We only ask that you send high resolution photos.

    Our school (Kenmore Elementary) used PaperLocket 3 years ago to make posters from a class auction project. The image of the 18×22 print was taken down to maybe 10×14 or so. It was done on very nice , thick but not quite card stock paper.

    This year we have another print that we’d like to make into posters to sell. Each would need to be 15×9.5 inches to maintain resolution.

    Is this something Paperlocket still does? We’d like print up to 10 copies of each of three prints. What would the charge be?
